Accountant cum Purchase Executive (Healthcare)

Position Summary

Accounting Duties

• Maintain accurate financial records including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports.
• Handle invoicing, billing, and collection follow-ups.
• Reconcile bank statements and monitor cash flow.
• Ensure compliance with UAE VAT regulations and prepare VAT filings.
• Assist in audits and ensure proper documentation of financial transactions.

Procurement And Purchase Duties

• Manage procurement of medical supplies, pharmaceuticals, and equipment.
• Identify, evaluate, and negotiate with vendors and suppliers.
• Prepare purchase orders and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Maintain inventory levels and coordinate with medical and operations teams.
• Ensure all purchases comply with healthcare regulations and quality standards.
• Track and control procurement budgets and expenses.
• Maintain supplier records and contracts.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum **2–5 years of experience** in accounting and procurement, preferably in a **healthcare setting (clinic/hospital)**.
• Knowledge of UAE VAT laws and financial regulations.
• Familiarity with medical procurement processes and healthcare suppliers.
• Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Tally, QuickBooks, or similar ERP systems).
• Strong negotiation and vendor management skills.
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities.
• Good communication skills in English & Hindi.
