Responsibilities

• Maintain accounts receivable general ledger accuracy and support timely collections.
• Support school budget development or modification, period close, and monthly management information review.
• Complete accurate, timely billing for tuition, exams, trips, and other charges.
• Follow up with parents daily on collections; issue receipts and support receipt clearing with Treasury.
• Manage petty cash in line with policies and delegation of authority.
• Ensure accurate revenue recognition and accounts receivable balances before month-end close.
• Coordinate annual budget and strategic plan preparation with HQ Finance.
• Support monthly closing and meet daily, weekly, monthly, and ad hoc reporting deadlines.
• Support policy and procedure adherence across the school and smooth finance operations.

Qualifications and experience

• Minimum qualification: degree in Accounting.
• Minimum experience: 5 or more years in a finance function, or a professional qualification with 2 or more years in a similar role.
• Advanced accounting principles, communication and presentation, and administration skills; working knowledge of accounting software.
