About This Role
Job Summary We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage and oversee financial transactions, ensure accuracy in financial reporting, and support the organization’s financial integrity. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a solid understanding of accounting principles, and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Classify, record, and maintain accurate records of all deposit and disbursement transactions.
- Enter and update financial data into the accounting system in a timely and accurate manner.
- Prepare periodic financial reports related to deposits and disbursements.
- Perform bank reconciliations and ensure proper settlement of financial transactions.
- Monitor financial discrepancies and resolve any inconsistencies promptly.
- Ensure compliance with internal policies and relevant financial regulations.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Financial Accounting, Accounting, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 5 years of proven experience in an accounting role.
- Strong hands-on experience in financial accounting and reporting.
Required Skills
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and financial reporting standards.
- Ability to analyze and interpret financial data with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Practical experience with accounting software and financial systems.
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other relevant tools is an advantage.
