Job Purpose

  • To lead the development and continuous enhancement of enterprise-wide governance frameworks, ensuring consistent, transparent, and accountable decision-making across the organization.
  • The role drives the implementation of effective governance structures, controls, and practices that support regulatory compliance, strengthen organizational maturity, and enable informed strategic execution.
  • What you’ll do
  • Manage and grow a portfolio of government clients within the insurance sector, acting as the primary relationship owner and trusted advisor.
  • Build and maintain strong, long term relationships with key stakeholders across government entities.
  • Oversee the full client insurance portfolio across both medical and non-medical products, ensuring seamless service delivery and client satisfaction.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing accounts through cross sell and upsell initiatives aligned with client needs.
  • Lead strategic account planning and provide proactive recommendations to strengthen partnerships and drive retention.
  • Coordinate closely with internal teams including operations, claims, underwriting, and customer support to ensure efficient execution and issue resolution.
  • Navigate complex client environments and manage escalations with professionalism and urgency.
  • Monitor portfolio performance, prepare client reports, and maintain accurate account documentation.
  • Mentor and manage one direct report, supporting their development and ensuring high performance standards.
  • Stay informed on market trends, regulatory developments, and competitive activity within the UAE insurance landscape.
  • What we’re looking for
  • 6+ years of experience in account management, relationship management, or client servicing within the insurance industry.
  • Strong expertise across both medical and non-medical insurance products.
  • Proven experience managing government or public sector clients within the UAE market.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills, with the ability to build credibility at senior levels.
  • Strategic mindset with strong commercial acumen and the ability to identify growth opportunities within existing accounts.
  • Hands on approach with the ability to balance strategic oversight and day to day account management.
  • Experience leading or mentoring team members is preferred.
  • Strong understanding of the local insurance market, regulatory environment, and client expectations.
  • Highly organized, proactive, and solution oriented, with strong problem solving capabilities.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Insurance, Finance, or a related field is preferred.
  • Candidates available immediately or within one month are strongly preferred.
