Job Summary

Accounting & Finance Manager

1. Department Leadership & Oversight

• Lead, supervise, and mentor the existing accounts team (bookkeepers, AP/AR clerks, etc.).
• Establish, implement, and maintain robust internal financial controls and accounting policies.
• Oversee the entire monthly, quarterly, and year-end closing processes.

2. Financial Reporting & Analysis

• Prepare and present accurate, timely monthly financial statements (Balance Sheet, Income Statement, Cash Flow).
• Conduct variance analysis and provide deep insights into budgeting and financial performance.
• Manage corporate cash flow forecasting and liquidity.

3. Day-to-Day Transactional Management

• Oversee Accounts Payable (AP) and Accounts Receivable (AR), ensuring timely payments and collections.
• Manage corporate payroll processing and bank reconciliations.
• Ensure accurate maintenance of the general ledger and all sub-ledgers.

4. Tax, Compliance & Audits

• Ensure strict compliance with all local and national tax regulations (VAT, Corporate Tax, payroll taxes).
• Coordinate and lead the annual external audit process, serving as the main point of contact for auditors.
• File timely and accurate tax returns.

Requirements & Qualifications

• **Education:**
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or Business Administration.
• **Certification:**
• Professional qualification such as

CPA, ACCA, CMA, or CA

• **Experience:**
• 5–8+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2–3 years in a managerial or supervisory role running a full department.
• **Technical Skills:**
• Advanced proficiency in ERP and accounting software (e.g., NetSuite, QuickBooks, SAP, Xero, Tally).
• Expert-level Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, Pivot Tables, financial modeling).
