Role Overview
We are looking for a commercially driven and strategically minded Account Director to lead key client partnerships while driving agency growth and revenue generation.
This role goes beyond traditional account management.
The ideal candidate will play a critical role in expanding existing accounts, securing new business opportunities, increasing profitability, and positioning the agency as a trusted strategic partner within the region.
You will lead client relationships at a senior level while collaborating closely with strategy, creative, production, and operations teams to deliver integrated campaigns that create measurable commercial results.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and manage senior-level client relationships across key regional and international accounts.
- Drive revenue growth through account expansion, upselling, cross-selling, and new business acquisition.
- Identify and develop new business opportunities across UAE and GCC markets.
- Lead strategic account planning and commercial growth initiatives aligned with agency objectives.
- Build and maintain a strong sales pipeline and contribute actively to agency business development targets.
- Lead proposal development, pricing strategy, presentations, and contract negotiations.
- Oversee integrated campaigns across ATL, BTL, digital, retail, and experiential channels.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with client expectations and commercial goals.
- Monitor account profitability, budgets, margins, forecasting, and overall financial performance.
- Partner with creative, strategy, and production teams to develop impactful, insight-driven campaigns.
- Lead, mentor, and develop Account Managers and Executives to foster a high-performance and commercially focused culture.
- Represent the agency in pitches, networking events, exhibitions, and industry forums.
- Maintain strong knowledge of market trends, consumer behavior, competitor activity, and emerging opportunities within the region.
What You Bring
- 7–10 years of experience within a marketing, advertising, branding, or experiential agency environment.
- Minimum 3 years in a leadership or senior client servicing/business development role.
- Proven success in driving revenue growth and expanding client portfolios.
- Strong business development and sales capabilities with a commercial mindset.
- Demonstrated experience handling large-scale integrated campaigns and regional accounts.
- Excellent negotiation, presentation, and relationship management skills.
- Strong understanding of retail activations, experiential marketing, exhibitions, and shopper marketing.
- Ability to manage multiple stakeholders and fast-paced projects simultaneously.
- Deep understanding of UAE and GCC market dynamics, consumer behavior, and brand landscape.
- Existing network within retail, automotive, FMCG, technology, or lifestyle sectors is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication skills in both Arabic and English (spoken and written).
