3D Graphic Designer - technical drawing

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Design 3D concepts for exhibition stands, booths, stages, and event spaces.
• Prepare 2D floor plans, elevations, sections, dimensions, and construction details.
• Create 3D models, realistic renders, and visual presentations from briefs and project requirements.
• Produce fabrication and installation drawings for production and site execution.
• Ensure compliance with venue regulations, space limits, structural requirements, and specifications.
• Coordinate with project managers, production teams, and contractors on design accuracy and feasibility.
• Revise designs and drawings based on client feedback and project changes.
• Select materials, finishes, lighting, and furniture for exhibition stands.
• Ensure accurate files and drawings are delivered on schedule.
• Support production and site teams during fabrication, installation, and dismantling when required.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Graphic Design, Interior Design, Architecture, or a related field.
• Proven experience in 3D exhibition stand design, event design, or interior design.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and SketchUp, 3ds Max, or equivalent 3D software.
• Experience with V-Ray, Lumion, Enscape, or equivalent rendering tools.
• Able to translate client briefs into technical drawings and realistic 3D visuals.
• Strong understanding of materials, fabrication methods, dimensions, and construction details.
• Strong attention to detail, creativity, time management, and problem-solving; able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.

Preferred skills

• Exhibition stand fabrication and build-up experience is preferred.
• Knowledge of large-format graphics, signage, lighting, and event production is preferred.
• Familiarity with technical specifications and venue guidelines is preferred.
• A portfolio of 3D designs and 2D technical drawings is preferred.
