Position overview
Provides business and billing analysis support for pharmacy billing applications related to the 340B program.
The work is heavily computer-based and data-driven.
Responsibilities
- Analyze and document processes; develop and document technical requirements.
- Participate in system planning and vendor product identification, due diligence, and selection.
- Run and analyze reports and monitor 340B program activity across multiple sites.
- Review drug purchases and utilization and compare purchasing data with utilization data.
- Support manufacturer reporting requirements and maintain compliance monitoring activities.
- Assist the Senior Analyst with reporting and data analysis requests.
- Pull information from multiple systems and compile findings for review.
Qualifications
- High school diploma, high school equivalency, or CHS-approved individualized education plan certificate; an associate degree in a related field is required, subject to the stated substitution.
- Three years of experience with 340B or hospital pharmacy operations and/or analytical or technical experience with business systems.
- Experience participating on a project team and setting up a project plan.
- Epic experience; advanced Excel, reporting, analytical, and data management skills.
- Pharmacy-related experience is identified as an ideal candidate qualification.
- Direct 340B experience is preferred; training may be provided to a candidate with strong analytical aptitude, reporting experience, and ability to learn complex pharmacy systems.
- 340B ACE (Apexus Advanced 340B Operations Certificate) is preferred.
- A California Pharmacy Technician License with high school diploma may substitute for the associate degree.
Systems
- Systems include Epic, Macro Helix, McKesson, 340B ESP, and contract pharmacy systems; candidates will be trained in and work with multiple systems.
Schedule
- Full-time, Monday through Friday, eight-hour day shift.
- Typical schedule is 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM; flexible start and end times may be available, such as 7:00 AM to 4:00 PM.
Work location
- Onsite position in Fresno/Clovis, California.
