What you will do
- Support client teams on day-to-day strategic communications programmes and advisory work.
- Research industries, stakeholders, media landscapes, and emerging issues relevant to clients.
- Support communications strategies, key messages, and stakeholder engagement approaches.
- Draft press releases, briefing notes, talking points, Q&As, and other client content.
- Monitor and analyze traditional and digital media coverage, identify trends, and assess communications impact.
- Help prepare client meetings, executive engagements, speaking opportunities, and events.
- Contribute to new-business proposals, research, and pitch development; collaborate across sectors and specialisms.
Basic qualifications
- Wanting to build a career in communications and PR.
- Be in the penultimate year of study, graduating in 2028, and expected to obtain a 2:1 degree or equivalent in any discipline.
- Be available for the internship from June 14 to August 20, 2027.
Preferred qualifications
- Strong work ethic, positive attitude, proactive approach, and genuine interest in business, current affairs, communications, and stakeholder issues.
- Understanding of traditional, digital, and social media.
- Excellent writing, analytical, and communication skills; strong interpersonal skills.
- Organization, time management, attention to detail, and ability to work independently and collaboratively.
- Curiosity, creativity, adaptability, initiative, and ability to work under pressure and summarize complex issues.

The Strategic Communications team works across corporate reputation, financial communications, public affairs, crisis and issues management, employee engagement, and digital communications.
