About the role

Investment Banking Analyst Intern position at FTI Capital Advisors, starting June 14, 2027 and ending August 20, 2027.

The team advises on M&A, equity and debt raising, and independent financial advisory services across multiple sectors and geographies.

Relevant sectors include telecommunications, media and technology, power, renewables and energy transition, healthcare, industrials, aviation, and aerospace.

What you will do

  • Support M&A mandate origination and transaction execution through closing.
  • Build business and financial models and perform valuation analyses.
  • Prepare client meeting documents on strategic alternatives, M&A, and corporate finance.
  • Conduct project-specific research and synthesize analyses into actionable conclusions.

Basic qualifications

  • Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Business, Finance, Management, Engineering, or a related field.
  • Actively pursuing a full-time bachelor’s or master’s degree, with graduation or a gap year/semester between June 2027 and June 2028.
  • Available to work 40 hours per week for the full internship.
  • Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0.
  • Fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Preferred qualifications

  • Understanding of corporate finance principles and methodologies is preferred.
  • Advanced Microsoft Office skills, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint, are preferred.
  • Additional language skills are an asset.
