About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Safely operate and navigate the yacht in compliance with maritime laws and safety regulations
- Plan and manage voyages, including route navigation, weather assessment, and fuel requirements
- Ensure the safety of all passengers, crew, and the vessel at all times
- Supervise and manage onboard crew, including task delegation and performance monitoring
- Conduct regular inspections and ensure proper maintenance of the yacht, engines, and equipment
- Maintain cleanliness, order, and overall presentation of the yacht to high standards
- Handle docking, anchoring, and maneuvering of the vessel in various conditions
- Ensure all safety equipment is functional and conduct emergency drills when necessary
- Manage onboard inventory, supplies, and provisions
- Maintain accurate logs, reports, and documentation (voyage logs, maintenance records, etc.)
- Provide excellent customer service and ensure a high-quality experience for guests
- Coordinate with owners, management, and port authorities as required
- Ensure compliance with all maritime regulations and licensing requirements
- Perform other duties related to vessel operation as assigned
Qualifications & Requirements
- Valid Yacht Master / Captain’s License (recognized certification)
- Proven experience as a Yacht Captain or in a similar maritime role
- Strong knowledge of navigation systems, maritime safety, and vessel operations
- Excellent leadership and crew management skills
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making abilities
- Good communication skills in English & Arabic
- Physically fit and able to work in marine conditions
- Valid seafarer medical certificate
