Job Summary
The Workshop Supervisor will oversee daily workshop operations, coordinate truck maintenance activities, manage technicians, and ensure efficient repairs to minimize equipment downtime.
Key Responsibilities
- Supervise daily workshop operations, maintenance activities, and technician workloads.
- Plan and coordinate truck maintenance schedules to ensure timely servicing and minimise downtime.
- Monitor repair efficiency and ensure work is completed within the agreed timeframes.
- Troubleshoot truck-related technical issues and coordinate with relevant teams for resolution.
- Manage technicians and allocate daily tasks based on operational priorities.
- Ensure workshop activities comply with safety procedures and quality standards.
- Coordinate with customers and internal teams regarding repair progress and service requirements.
- Monitor workshop productivity and ensure the effective use of tools, equipment, and resources.
- Required Skills & Qualifications
- Diploma or B.E./ B.Tech in Mechanical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
- 7–8 years of relevant experience in workshop operations, preferably involving trucks.
- Previous experience working with a truck dealership will be an advantage.
- Strong knowledge of truck maintenance, repair procedures, and workshop operations.
- Good leadership, team management, troubleshooting, and coordination skills
