Wellness Specialist

Overview

• This Role for a reputable clinic in Riyadh
• The Wellness Specialist must possess relevant qualifications and hands on expertise in wellness, preventive health, and non medical therapeutic services, with responsibility for delivering holistic wellness programs (including lifestyle coaching, recovery therapies, and relaxation treatments) in compliance with applicable regulations and standards set by the Ministry of Health and general safety guidelines;
• The role must ensure proper client assessment within scope, obtain informed consent where applicable, adhere to hygiene and safety protocols, maintain accurate session documentation, and protect client confidentiality in alignment with the Saudi Personal Data Protection Law.
• The Wellness Specialist must also guide clients on lifestyle improvement, stress management, and recovery techniques, ensure safe operation of wellness equipment, coordinate with medical teams when required, and contribute to a premium client experience, supported by relevant certifications, practical experience in wellness or spa/medical environments, and strong interpersonal and communication skills within a regulated Saudi setting.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal skills and customer service orientation to build trust, motivate clients, and maintain professional relationships.
• Knowledge of health & wellness principles, including lifestyle management, preventive health, and behavior change strategies.
• Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to explain wellness concepts clearly and provide actionable guidance.
• Understanding of exercise physiology and practical experience designing safe, evidence-based activity plans for diverse populations.
• Relevant certification or degree in wellness, exercise science, sports science, nutrition, public health, or a related field.
• Experience in healthcare, fitness centers, corporate wellness, or community health programs is an advantage.
• Demonstrated cultural sensitivity and a client-centered approach when working with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
