Well Services Manager - Cementing & Pumping

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Plan offshore job execution, including cementing programs, pumping schedules, equipment mobilization, personnel deployment, and readiness.
• Provide onshore technical and operational support to offshore supervisors and crews.
• Oversee maintenance, inspection, certification, and reliability of cementing units, high-pressure pumps, batch mixers, and related equipment.
• Manage personnel competency, training, performance, and resource allocation.
• Coordinate with clients, contractors, marine teams, and third-party service providers.
• Manage inventory, cementing materials, chemicals, spare parts, logistics, and equipment availability.
• Monitor performance, investigate issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Control budgets, costs, and KPIs; support continuous improvement, business development, tenders, and technical proposals.
• Conduct offshore visits, audits, and performance reviews.

Required qualifications

• At least 10 years of offshore oil and gas well-services experience specializing in cementing and high-pressure pumping.
• Engineering degree in Mechanical, Petroleum, Chemical Engineering, or a related discipline.
• Strong knowledge of cementing and pump units, batch mixers, slurry design, pumping calculations, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Knowledge of offshore HSE requirements, industry standards, equipment certification, material handling, cement additives, and chemical procedures.
• Experience in operational leadership, personnel management, coaching, competency development, budget control, cost management, resource planning, and performance monitoring.
• Strong understanding of client requirements, offshore logistics, marine operations, and industry market trends.
• Strong communication, coordination, planning, and problem-solving skills; able to manage multiple operations.
