About This Role

Overview

  • We are looking for a Social Events Sales Manager to join our team.
  • The ideal candidate will bring a strong, career-focused background in events management.
  • We re seeking someone who is detail-driven, guest-centric, and naturally creative, with a warm yet confident presence.
  • This role oversees social events of varying complexity and requires someone who can balance operational precision with an elevated, personalized client experience.
  • Specifically handle the social events market (contracts, responding to inquiries etc.)
  • Manage internal and external social events /
  • Respond quickly to guest requests in a professional manner. Follow up to ensure guest satisfaction within 24 hours.
  • Clearly communicate details of events to client and hotel departments via contracts, banquet event orders (BEO) and internal meetings
  • Conduct site inspections with prospective couples and clients, showcasing the hotel
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross-functional coordination with Banquets, Culinary, Rooms, Sales, and external partners to ensure seamless event execution
  • Attend all hotel required meetings and trainings
  • Manages wedding room blocks and meeting space for assigned weddings
  • Anticipates, addresses, and resolves guest concerns with professionalism and impeccable service.
  • Maintain the integrity of Opera Sales & Event Management (OSEM) at all times
  • Create floor plans that optimize space and ensure a memorable guest experience
  • Strong understanding of event financials, including billing accuracy, deposit schedules, minimum spend requirements, and opportunities to optimize revenue
