The Wedding Planner is a full-time, on-site role based in Doha, Qatar.
The role manages end-to-end wedding planning and execution, including concept development, venue selection, vendor coordination, timelines, and event-day logistics.
Responsibilities
- Meet clients to understand their vision and preferences.
- Prepare detailed proposals and budgets.
- Arrange décor, entertainment, catering, and technical requirements.
- Coordinate with internal creative and production teams, external suppliers, and venues.
- Ensure all event elements meet client expectations and company standards.
- Handle client communications, resolve issues promptly, and maintain service standards.
- Support post-event follow-up and reporting.
Qualifications and requirements
- Strong planning and event-planning skills, including managing multiple projects and deadlines.
- Specialized wedding-planning experience, including concept development, ceremony and reception coordination, and vendor management.
- Budgeting ability to create, track, and optimize wedding and event budgets.
- Customer-service skills focused on client satisfaction, clear communication, and relationship management.
- Experience in events or hospitality; weddings or social events are preferred.
- Organization, attention to detail, problem-solving under time pressure, interpersonal skills, and negotiation skills.
- Proficiency in basic office and event management software; event-planning tool familiarity is an advantage.
- Fluency in English required; Arabic is a plus.
- Flexible hours, including evenings, weekends, and holidays, may be required by event schedules.
