About the Role

We are seeking a highly driven and detail-oriented Operations & Financial Performance Manager to oversee the full operational execution and financial efficiency of our weddings and events business. This role is critical in ensuring seamless event delivery while maximizing profitability, cost control, and overall company performance.

You will act as the bridge between operations, production, sales, and finance—ensuring every event is executed to the highest standard while meeting financial targets.

Key Responsibilities

Operations Management

  • Oversee end-to-end event operations, from planning to execution and post-event evaluation
  • Coordinate across departments (sales, production, logistics, design, and vendors)
  • Ensure all events are delivered on time, within scope, and to premium quality standards
  • Develop and implement SOPs to improve efficiency and consistency
  • Monitor team performance during event setup, execution, and breakdown

Financial Performance & Cost Control

  • Prepare and manage event budgets, forecasts, and financial reports
  • Monitor profit margins per event and overall company profitability
  • Identify cost-saving opportunities without compromising quality
  • Control procurement, supplier negotiations, and expense tracking
  • Analyze financial performance and provide actionable insights to management

Strategic Planning & Optimization

  • Drive operational efficiency and scalability of the business
  • Implement systems for tracking KPIs (cost per event, profit margin, productivity)
  • Work closely with sales team to ensure pricing strategies align with profitability goals
  • Improve cash flow management and payment cycles

Team Leadership

  • Lead and supervise operations and production teams
  • Set performance targets and ensure accountability
  • Train and develop team members to enhance productivity and quality

Vendor & Stakeholder Management

  • Manage relationships with suppliers and subcontractors
  • Negotiate contracts to achieve best pricing and service quality
  • Ensure all vendors meet company standards and deadlines

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Event Management, or related field
  • 5+ years of experience in events, weddings, or hospitality industry (UAE experience preferred)
  • Strong financial acumen with experience in budgeting, cost control, and profit analysis
  • Proven experience in operations management within fast-paced environments
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and negotiation skills
  • Ability to handle high-pressure, large-scale events
  • Proficiency in Excel and financial reporting tools
