Position Overview
Hostdeweb LLC is seeking a detail-oriented and technically skilled **Web Hosting Coordinator** to manage and support our web hosting operations in Lusail.
The ideal candidate will oversee hosting accounts, ensure optimal server performance, coordinate client onboarding, and provide technical assistance related to hosting services.
This role is central to maintaining service reliability, customer satisfaction, and operational efficiency within our hosting infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and monitor web hosting accounts, including shared, VPS, and dedicated hosting services
- Coordinate the setup, migration, and configuration of client websites and domains
- Ensure server uptime, performance optimization, and security compliance
- Troubleshoot hosting-related issues including DNS, SSL, email, and server errors
- Liaise with technical support teams, system administrators, and developers
- Handle customer inquiries related to hosting services in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of hosting configurations, renewals, and service changes
- Assist in implementing backups, updates, and disaster recovery procedures
- Monitor resource usage and recommend upgrades or optimizations when necessary
- Support billing and account management coordination when required
Required Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field
- Experience in web hosting, server administration, or technical support (1–3 years preferred)
- Familiarity with cPanel, Plesk, WHM, or similar hosting control panels
- Basic understanding of Linux/Windows server environments
- Knowledge of DNS, domain management, SSL certificates, and email hosting systems
- Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills
- Good communication skills in English (Arabic is a plus)
Preferred Skills
- Experience with cloud hosting platforms (AWS, DigitalOcean, Google Cloud)
- Understanding of website migration processes
- Knowledge of cybersecurity best practices
- Familiarity with web technologies (HTML, PHP, CMS platforms like WordPress)
- Customer service or IT support experience
