Web Developer
About This Role
We are looking for a motivated Web Developer to design, build and maintain responsive web applications for our Dubai-based products and services. The role involves front-end and/or back-end development depending on the stack, close collaboration with designers and product teams, and delivering high-quality, performant and secure web experiences.
Key Responsibilities
Develop responsive, accessible and performant web applications using modern front-end frameworks (React, Angular, Vue) and/or back-end technologies (Node.js, Django, .NET, PHP).
Build and maintain RESTful APIs or GraphQL endpoints; integrate third-party services.
Implement UI/UX designs from wireframes and mockups; ensure cross-browser compatibility and mobile responsiveness.
Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code (unit/integration tests); participate in code reviews.
Optimize application performance, load times and SEO fundamentals.
Work with relational and NoSQL databases (MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB) and implement proper data models.
Implement authentication, authorization and security best practices (OWASP).
Create and maintain CI/CD pipelines, containerization (Docker) and deployments to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
Monitor and fix production issues, maintain documentation and runbooks.
Collaborate in Agile teams, contribute to technical design and mentor junior developers.
Qualifications & Skills
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience.
2+ years’ experience as a Web Developer (adjust for seniority: Junior 0–2, Mid 2–5, Senior 5+).
Strong proficiency in HTML5, CSS3 (Sass/Less) and JavaScript/TypeScript.
Experience with at least one modern front-end framework (React, Angular, Vue) and familiarity with state management (Redux, Vuex).
Experience with server-side frameworks (Node.js/Express, Django, Laravel, ASP.NET) for full‑stack roles.
Proficient with RESTful APIs/GraphQL, authentication flows (OAuth, JWT) an
