Internship programme

The 2027 Wealth & Retail Banking Internship Programme is a 10-week summer internship.

Interns work on real business challenges, build skills, and gain insight into client support, trade, and finance across markets.

The programme includes structured induction, product and client exposure, meaningful projects, skills development, mentoring, senior-leader learning, and community initiatives.

Possible placement teams

  • Affluent Banking supports personal, premium, priority, priority private, and private banking clients.
  • Wealth Solutions builds, manages, and protects client wealth.
  • Digital Banking uses data and next-generation technology to deliver personalized banking solutions.
  • Bancassurance Performance and Analytics applies data, AI, and analytics to enhance business performance.

Eligibility and candidate profile

  • Applicants should be penultimate-year students from any degree discipline or background.
  • Applicants must be able to intern in June 2027 and start full time in July 2028.
  • Applicants must have permanent legal right to work in the country of application; UAE applicants must be UAE nationals.
  • Candidates should show initiative, analytical problem-solving, curiosity, collaboration, adaptability, and commercial interest.

Programme dates

  • The internship starts in June 2027 and runs for 10 weeks.
  • Assessment centres begin in October 2026.
