Role Overview

Receiving and Storage

• Unload and receive containerized freight, verify shipments against purchase orders and manifests, and report shortages, discrepancies or damage.
• Put products away in correct locations within load limits and racking requirements.
• Pick, pack, label, palletize and stage customer orders on time against shipping documentation.

Inventory and Dispatch

• Record receipts and stock movements in the warehouse management system, process returns, and support cycle counts and inventory investigations.
• Confirm carriers collect the correct product and that loading matches the paperwork, escalating delays or damage.

Equipment and Safety

• Safely operate reach trucks, forklifts and pallet jacks, complete pre-use inspections and report defects.
• Keep aisles, racking and workstations clean and hazard-free, use required protective equipment and report incidents under WorkSafeBC requirements.
• Work closely with showrooms, drivers, carriers, Customer Experience, Spare Parts and Service Technicians.

Requirements

• Previous warehouse, shipping and receiving, distribution or material-handling experience.
• Reach-truck operating experience is required; narrow-aisle and elevated-racking experience is preferred.
• Provide forklift training evidence and complete company-approved CSA and WorkSafeBC training.
• Have a high school diploma or equivalent.
• Warehouse management systems, SAP, RF scanners or computerized inventory experience is an asset.
• Have basic Microsoft Outlook and Excel skills.
• Have strong attention to detail, organization, time management and communication skills.
• Work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
• Stand and walk for extended periods, lift or move up to 50 pounds, and work around equipment, racking and vehicle-loading areas.
• Be available for evenings, weekends or holidays when operationally required.

Work Environment

• The role is a hands-on warehouse position in a clean, well-equipped site with moving equipment, racking and vehicle-loading areas.
