• Work with a RF scanning system to complete tasks as issued through the warehouse management system, on a timely basis to meet production and despatch deadlines.
• To liaise with all relevant departments and job functions in order to facilitate the smooth and efficient operation of the warehouses.
• To liaise with the Supervisor and material controller on the reporting, corrective action or preventative measures required overcoming any issues, which may affect the efficient operation within the warehouse.
• To maintain administrative procedures for the efficient running of the warehouse.
• To perform Internal Safety Audits as required.
• To participate in continuous improvement activities to improve the efficiency and safety of the warehouse.
• To operate the mechanical handling equipment safely and conform with all safety requirements associated with the equipment – Powered pallet truck, counterbalance, Clamp.
• To comply with Health and Safety, Hygiene, Environmental and general housekeeping policies and procedures.
• The job holder may be required to undertake such other reasonable duties as may be required of him/her in the post, the department mentioned above or in the company.
• It is the duty of every employee while at work to take reasonable care for the Health, Safety and Environment of himself and of other persons, who may be affected by his/her acts or omissions at work, and as regards any duty or requirement imposed on his/her employer or any other person by or under any of the relevant statutory provisions (HSAW 1974 section.7)
