Role Overview

Warehouse Operations

• Receive, sort, label, inspect, and store goods while optimizing warehouse space.
• Verify shipment records, update received and shipped items, and identify damage or defects.
• Move, stack, stage, load, and unload materials, finished goods, tools, and parts.
• Pack items for shipment according to specifications and the applicable transportation method.
• Complete order fulfillment and maintain routing between warehouse departments.
• Perform picking, packing, transshipment consolidation, and sorting-center activities.

Processing and Administration

• Operate scanners to process incoming and outgoing shipments.
• Verify and process freight pickup and arrival documentation.
• Log the movement of incoming and outgoing materials and products.
• Arrange pickup schedules and dispatch delivery information in a timely manner.
• Support shipment administration, status reporting, and over-the-counter payment handling.
• Answer shipment-tracking queries and resolve issues involving misplaced shipments.

Equipment and Stakeholders

• Operate gas or electric forklifts under supervision and use high-rise equipment for storage racks when required.
• Check, use, and maintain forklifts and warehouse equipment daily.
• Explain work facts and procedures to colleagues and communicate information requiring some interpretation.
• Work as an individual contributor without direct responsibility for leading others.

Education and Experience

• Vocational, specialized, technical, or certification-level education is required.
• The stated experience level is less than two years.
• Employees are expected to obtain certifications related to loading, unloading, and material-handling equipment.
