We are looking for a talented Warehouse Manager to oversee our operations in the food solutions industry.
Responsibilities
- Receive raw materials and products, ensuring compliance with specifications.
- Store products under appropriate conditions (temperature, humidity, cleanliness).
- Implement FIFO/FEFO systems to ensure product freshness.
- Monitor product expiration dates, especially for sensitive items like chocolates.
- Manage daily operational tasks for production.
- Record warehouse movements (inbound/outbound) accurately.
- Conduct regular audits (daily/monthly).
- Coordinate with the production and procurement departments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse according to food safety standards.
- Monitor any product damage or spoilage and take swift action.
Essential Skills
- Experience with food safety standards (HACCP/ISO 22000).
- Experience in refrigerated or sensitive environment warehouses.
- Experience in warehouse management (preferably in food or confectionery sectors).
- Good knowledge of storage systems (FIFO/FEFO).
- Ability to use warehouse management software (Excel/ERP).
- Strong organizational and tidying skills.
- Specialized skills in chocolates and confectionery.
- Understanding the impact of humidity on products (Blooming in chocolates).
- Handling sensitive materials like cream and emulsifiers.
- Ensuring the final product's quality and its preservation during storage.
