Warehouse Inventory Control Analyst

Role overview

Responsibilities

• Determine optimal stock levels, identify shortages and overstocks, and recommend and adjust replenishment levels.
• Run MRP reports in the ERP system to identify and recommend replenishment stock orders.
• Review bills of materials daily to initiate sourcing and purchasing requirements.
• Maintain inventory part information in the ERP system.
• Coordinate with sales and operations to forecast and maintain equipment stock levels.
• Implement and maintain inventory planning metrics and collaborate to reduce excess and obsolete inventory.
• Analyze data to identify inventory and demand-planning trends and improvement opportunities.
• Report on inventory levels, forecast accuracy, and other KPIs; compile inventory reports for management.
• Support company safety, quality, and productivity goals.

Requirements and physical demands

• At least five years of warehouse inventory analysis and management experience, or similar experience.
• Strong organizational skills and demonstrated aptitude for inventory accuracy.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Work takes place in a climate-controlled factory; continuous standing may be required.
• Must wear safety clothing and equipment and be able to kneel, bend, crouch, climb ladders, and lift up to 60 pounds.
