Responsibilities
- Process work orders and follow work schedules to pull inventory.
- Pull chassis, brackets, and other materials for production assembly needs.
- Follow required steps and guidelines when filling work orders.
- Apply First In, First Out inventory practices.
- Rotate stock and consolidate pallets to remove overflow locations.
- Organize metal materials upon receipt.
- Resolve quantity discrepancies with receiving, purchasing, and accounting.
- Record stock movements in IQMS or an equivalent system daily.
- Maintain an organized warehouse.
Requirements
- Comfort working with various computer systems.
- Strong planning, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize workload, and manage requests from various sources.
- Ability to work independently and solve problems creatively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- One to five years of material planning or warehouse management experience is preferred.
- Forklift experience is preferred but not required; on-the-job training is provided.
