Job Overview

Schedule

• The regular first shift is 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM.
• Employees must be flexible to work overtime and multiple shift hours.

Duties and Responsibilities

• Operate cutting equipment to process wire and cable orders for shipping.
• Use RF scanners, iPads, and handheld devices to sort, scan, and prepare orders.
• Assist customers with local will-call orders.
• Build, wrap, sort, and transport reels, pallets, and packages.
• Ship and receive truck deliveries.
• Use forklifts, dollies, and other equipment to move products within the facility.

Requirements

• Candidates must be at least 18 years old and able to follow job requirements and safety guidelines.
• Ability to lift up to 80 pounds and perform repetitive physical movements is required.
• Reliable attendance and reliable transportation to and from work are required.
• ASTM F2413-approved safety footwear is required.
• Previous wire and cable experience is a plus, but not required.
• Attention to detail and the ability to multitask are required.

Work Environment

• The role is performed in person in a warehouse environment around moving machines, forklifts, order pickers, heavy reels, and truck trailers.
• The warehouse is not climate controlled and may exceed 90°F in some areas and truck trailers.
• The environment can be noisy, and hearing protection is provided when needed.
• Employees receive PPE and participate in monthly safety meetings.
