Role Overview
This role focuses on proactive quality control within warehouse operations, ensuring that all goods meet required standards before dispatch.
The position is responsible for identifying deviations from Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintaining consistent compliance with operational and quality benchmarks.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct routine, hands-on inspections of inbound, stored, picked, and outbound goods
- Verify product condition, quantities, labeling, packaging, and documentation against SOPs and specifications
- Identify, segregate, and label non-conforming or damaged materials
- Ensure compliance with warehouse procedures through regular monitoring
- Work closely with the Warehouse Supervisor to maintain process adherence
- Take immediate corrective actions when deviations are identified
Quality Objectives
- Ensure daily adherence to operational procedures and quality standards
- Maintain accuracy and consistency in inspection and reporting processes
Required Skills & Competencies
- Strong attention to detail with a structured and systematic inspection approach
- Ability to read and interpret specifications, technical drawings, and SOPs
- Practical knowledge of warehouse operations (inbound, storage, picking, packing, outbound)
- Basic documentation and reporting skills
- Ability to work independently and make quick, effective decisions
Preferred Experience
- Experience working within an ISO EN9120 quality framework
- Basic knowledge of EASA & FAA aviation regulations and certification standards
