Role Purpose

The Warehouse Assistant plays a key role in ensuring smooth and efficient warehouse operations by handling inventory accurately, processing inbound and outbound goods, and maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

This role supports daily logistics workflows by meeting productivity targets, following quality standards, and contributing to the overall success of the distribution process.

Inbound & Outbound Operations

  • Scan, receive, and process incoming/outgoing items as per established workflows and QC standards.
  • Ensure accurate sorting, labeling, and verification of items before storage or dispatch.

Inventory Control & Accuracy

  • Maintain accurate records of stock movements and report discrepancies immediately.
  • Assist in periodic stock counts and follow proper inventory storage practices.

Performance & Quality Targets

  • Meet daily productivity targets assigned by supervisors.
  • Ensure work output complies with quality, accuracy, and operational standards..

Safety, Housekeeping & Compliance

  • Follow all warehouse safety protocols and use proper handling techniques.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and hazard-free workspace at all times.
  • Comply with company policies, security procedures, and operational guidelines.

Requirements

  • Minimum high school education or equivalent.
  • Prior warehouse experience preferred.
  • Basic computer skills (WMS knowledge is a plus).
  • Ability to lift, move, and handle materials safely.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Good communication and teamwork abilities.
  • Willing to work in any rotational shift as required.
