Role Purpose

We are seeking an experienced Oracle Retail Technical Consultant with strong implementation experience in Retail Planning solutions, including at least one cloud-based implementation involving Oracle Retail Analytics & Planning (RAP) and Oracle Retail AI Foundation (AIF).

The ideal candidate will possess deep techno-functional expertise in Oracle Retail Planning applications, RPAS (Retail Predictive Application Server) configurations, data integration, forecasting, and solution development to support enterprise retail planning and merchandising processes.

Solution Design & Implementation

· Lead and support implementation of Oracle Retail Planning solutions, including RAP and AIF modules.

· Participate in end-to-end project activities including requirements gathering, solution design, configuration, development, testing, deployment, and hypercare support.

· Translate business planning requirements into scalable Oracle Retail Planning solutions.

· Work closely with business users, functional consultants, architects, and integration teams.

RPAS Configuration & Development

· Configure and customize RPAS applications to meet retailer-specific planning requirements.

· Develop and maintain RPAS domains, measures, hierarchies, dimensions, rules, calculations, and workbooks.

· Perform RPAS coding, batch configuration, taskflow setup, workbook design, and performance optimization.

· Troubleshoot and resolve RPAS application issues, data inconsistencies, and performance bottlenecks.

Oracle RAP & AI Foundation

· Implement and support Oracle Retail Analytics & Planning (RAP) solutions.

· Configure and support Oracle Retail AI Foundation (AIF) forecasting and predictive analytics capabilities.

· Understand machine learning and forecasting processes within Oracle Retail planning environments.

· Support forecast generation, model tuning, exception management, and forecast accuracy improvements.

Data Integration & Technical Development

· Design and support integrations between RAP, AIF, RPAS, Oracle Retail applications, ERP systems, and external data sources.

· Develop and troubleshoot batch processes, ETL workflows, and data pipelines.

· Support data validation, reconciliation, and quality assurance activities.

· Collaborate with cloud and infrastructure teams for deployment and environment management.

Testing & Support

· Prepare technical design documents, configuration documents, and deployment guides.

· Support SIT, UAT, performance testing, and production rollouts.

· Provide post-go-live support and production issue resolution.

Experience

· 10+ years of technical experience in RPAS coding and configuration, MFP and the new cloud versions

· Proven implementation experience in Retail Planning systems.

· Experience in at least one Oracle Retail Cloud implementation involving RAP and AIF.

· Strong experience in Oracle Retail Planning solutions and RPAS platform.

Technical Skills

Strong hands-on experience with:

o Oracle Retail Predictive Application Server (RPAS)

o RPAS Configuration and Development

o RPASCE (Cloud Edition) environments

o Workbook design and configuration

o Measures, dimensions, hierarchies, and rules development

o Forecasting and planning processes

o Batch execution and scheduling

Techno-Functional Knowledge

Good understanding of retail planning processes including:

o Merchandise Financial Planning

o Assortment Planning

o Item Planning

o Demand Forecasting

o Replenishment Planning

o Inventory Planning

o Allocation and Merchandise Planning concepts

· Ability to bridge business requirements and technical solution design.

Experience

with Oracle Retail ecosystem including:

o Oracle Retail Merchandise Foundation Cloud Service (MFCS)

o Oracle Retail Integration Cloud Services (RICS)

· Knowledge of SQL, Python, shell scripting, and cloud technologies.

· Experience with Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).

· Familiarity with Agile delivery methodologies.

Education

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field.
