The Warehouse Assistant is responsible for supporting daily warehouse operations, including receiving, storing, and dispatching goods.
This role ensures inventory is handled efficiently, safely, and accurately to meet operational requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive, inspect, and verify incoming goods against delivery documents
- Load, unload, and store items in designated areas
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for dispatch
- Maintain accurate inventory records and assist in stock counts
- Ensure proper labeling, packaging, and storage of products
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and safe
- Operate basic warehouse equipment (e.g., pallet jacks, forklifts if certified)
- Follow company procedures and safety regulations
- Report damaged or missing items to the supervisor
Requirements & Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous warehouse or logistics experience is preferred
- Basic understanding of inventory systems
- Physical fitness to lift and move heavy items
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Good teamwork and communication skills
