About The Opportunity
W.A.S CO., a reputed logistics and supply chain services provider based in the United Arab Emirates, is seeking a dedicated Warehouse Assistant to join our on-site team.
We operate within the warehousing, distribution, and logistics sector, focusing on delivering efficient storage and inventory solutions to our diverse clientele.
Role & Responsibilities
- Assist in managing stock inventory and ensure accurate stock records.
- Support the processing of incoming and outgoing shipments efficiently and accurately.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment according to safety standards.
- Operate warehouse equipment such as forklifts responsibly and safely.
- Participate in inventory audits and cycle counts to verify stock integrity.
- Support team members in day-to-day warehouse operations to meet company targets.
Skills & Qualifications
- Must-Have
- Proven experience in warehouse or inventory management.
- Familiarity with warehouse safety procedures and forklift operation.
- Basic data entry and inventory software skills.
- Physical ability to perform manual handling tasks.
- Good communication skills and team-oriented attitude.
- Preferred
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Certification in forklift operation.
