Role overview

Carry out accurate, secure, scan-controlled physical handling for courier, e-commerce, and warehousing activity.

Support receiving, sorting, storage, picking, packing, and dispatch while maintaining custody, safety, and housekeeping standards.

Reports to the Operations Manager; a designated shift lead allocates daily tasks.

Location and work arrangement

  • The role is based at Dubai Investment Park 1 (DIP 1), Dubai, UAE.
  • Work location is in person.

Warehouse duties

  • Receive shipments against manifests or ASNs and check counts, visible condition, labels, and basic compliance.
  • Scan, sort, segregate, bag, seal, label, put away, pick, pack, stage, and load items according to system tasks and SOPs.
  • Maintain designated inbound, sorting, bad-address/NDR, returns-hold, outbound-staging, supplies, and trolley/MHE-parking zones.
  • Immediately record damage, shortages, excess, wrong labels, temperature issues, or security irregularities; do not silently correct discrepancies.
  • Use weighing, dimensioning, barcode, trolley, and material-handling equipment safely.
  • Maintain inventory location accuracy, bin discipline, cycle counts, and stock-movement records.
  • Protect high-value, confidential, restricted, COD, and return shipments through controlled custody.
  • Follow PPE, manual-handling, fire, emergency, visitor, housekeeping, and access-control rules.
  • Complete shift handovers and report pending or unmatched items; support peak volume with flexible shifts and cross-trained duties.

Requirements and qualifications

  • One to three years in courier sorting, e-commerce fulfilment, or warehouse operations is preferred.
  • Able to read labels, use handheld scanners, and follow system-directed tasks.
  • Physically fit for the role and trained or trainable in safe manual handling.
  • Reliable and disciplined, and willing to work flexible shifts during peak periods.
