Join our growing team as a Warehouse Assistant, where you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the smooth operations of our warehouse.
In this dynamic environment, you will be responsible for managing the flow of goods, maintaining efficient inventory systems, and ensuring that products are packed, labeled, and shipped accurately.
This role is critical to guaranteeing that our warehouse operations are maintained at the highest standard and that our customers receive their products in a timely fashion.
You will work closely with other team members to optimize our processes and support the overall operation of our supply chain, contributing to the success and reliability of our distribution network.
Responsibilities
- Receive, unload, and process incoming shipments accurately and efficiently.
- Inspect delivered goods to ensure quality and accuracy of shipments.
- Organize and store inventory in designated areas to maintain efficient workflow.
- Pick, pack, and prepare orders for shipping according to company standards.
- Conduct regular inventory counts and update records to maintain accuracy.
- Operate warehouse equipment, such as forklifts and pallet jacks, safely.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the warehouse to ensure safety.
- Produce and process shipping and inventory documentation accurately.
- Assist in loading and unloading trucks in a safe and efficient manner.
- Collaborate with warehouse team to optimize workflow and operations.
- Communicate effectively with peers and supervisors about inventory status.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures to prevent workplace accidents.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent is required for this position.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or similar environment is preferred.
- Ability to lift and move heavy objects, up to 50 pounds, regularly.
- Familiarity with warehouse management software and inventory systems.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential.
- Excellent communication skills to work effectively with team members.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including weekends and overtime.
