Overview
The Server / Waiter / Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service to guests, taking and serving orders accurately and efficiently, and ensuring a pleasant dining experience.
The role requires a positive attitude, attention to detail, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Greet guests in a warm and professional manner.
- Present menus, take food and beverage orders, and relay them accurately to the kitchen and bar.
- Serve food and beverages promptly and check on guest satisfaction throughout the meal.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of tables, service stations, and dining area.
- Handle customer complaints professionally and report major issues to the supervisor.
- Ensure accurate billing and process payments efficiently.
- Follow all hygiene, sanitation, and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with other restaurant staff to ensure smooth operations and guest satisfaction.
Qualifications & Skills
- High school diploma or equivalent; hospitality certification is a plus.
- Proven experience as a waiter/waitress or in customer service is preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment.
- Professional appearance and behavior.
- Basic math skills for handling cash/card payments.
- Flexibility to work shifts, including weekends and holidays.
