The waitress provides customer service, welcomes guests, takes and serves food and beverage orders, and supports a pleasant dining experience.
Guest service and orders
- Greet guests, escort them to tables, and provide menus when needed.
- Take accurate orders, recommend menu items, and serve food and drinks promptly.
- Check guest satisfaction, address needs, and escalate unresolved complaints.
- Enter orders and process bills, payments, discounts, complimentary items, and voids through the POS system.
Restaurant operations
- Set up and reset tables; keep dining areas, service stations, and supplies clean and organized.
- Follow food safety, sanitation, personal hygiene, uniform, and food-handling procedures.
- Coordinate with kitchen, bar, and supervisors; communicate requests, dietary needs, and order changes.
- Recommend additional items and promotions and help achieve sales targets.
- Attend briefings, follow schedules and attendance procedures, and protect company property and confidential information.
Qualifications and requirements
- Previous waitress or similar food and beverage service experience is preferred.
- Good communication and customer service skills; basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards.
- Ability to use a POS system and handle orders accurately.
- Good personal hygiene and professional appearance; ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Teamwork, punctuality, and attention to detail; flexibility to work shifts, weekends, and public holidays as required.
Pay
- Pay starts at AED 2,500 per month.
