Role overview

Guest service and outlet operations

• Set up the outlet on time according to meal settings and opening hours.
• Present menus, make recommendations, take and enter orders, and handle payments.
• Welcome guests, coordinate seating with the hostess, and keep the entrance attended.
• Provide warm service, anticipate guest needs, and handle complaints or consult a supervisor.
• Complete mise en place, table setting, cleaning, equipment polishing, and side-station organization.
• Support outlet revenue targets and help control operating expenses.
• Report cleanliness, maintenance, and equipment issues to the appropriate team.
• Coordinate guest-record and business-card handoffs with the hostess and bills with the cashier.
• Assist in other hotel areas as needed and perform other reasonable assigned duties.

Qualifications

• Fluent English is required.
• A positive can-do attitude and ability to work in a team are required.
• Additional languages are a plus.

Role knowledge and practices

• Maintain knowledge of menus, promotions, and outlet products.
• Follow hotel hygiene, fire, health, safety, environmental, and confidentiality policies.
• Attend departmental training and briefings.
