A Waiter/Waitress is responsible for providing excellent customer service by greeting guests, taking food and beverage orders, serving meals, and ensuring customer satisfaction throughout the dining experience.
They maintain cleanliness of dining areas, handle guest requests professionally, process payments, and work closely with kitchen and service teams to deliver efficient and high-quality service.
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome and seat guests.
- Present menus and explain menu items.
- Take and accurately enter food and beverage orders.
- Serve food and drinks promptly and professionally.
- Check on guests and respond to requests.
- Process bills and payments.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining area.
- Follow food safety, hygiene, and company standards.
Requirements
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Positive attitude and professional appearance.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service.
- Previous hospitality experience is preferred.
