Role overview

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests, present menus, explain options, take accurate orders, make recommendations, and serve food and beverages to service standards.
• Set and maintain tables; monitor guest needs and respond to requests, feedback, and complaints professionally.
• Coordinate with the kitchen and other departments, check guest satisfaction, and follow up when needed.
• Process bills and payments, maintain cleanliness and hygiene, and upsell food and beverage items where appropriate.
• Follow hotel procedures and assist with restaurant opening, closing, and daily operations.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent and previous experience as a waiter, waitress, or in a similar hospitality role.
• Good food and beverage service knowledge, communication and interpersonal skills, customer service ability, and attention to detail.
• Good English communication skills and basic knowledge of POS and payment systems.
• Able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, handle guest concerns professionally, coordinate with a team, and work flexible shifts, weekends, and public holidays.
• Additional language skills are an advantage.
