Role Description
This is a full-time, on-site Waiter role based in Doha, Qatar.
The Waiter is responsible for greeting guests, presenting menus, taking orders accurately, and serving food and beverages in a timely and professional manner.
Daily tasks include setting up and clearing tables, ensuring the dining area is clean and well-presented, and coordinating with kitchen and bar teams for smooth service.
The role includes answering guest questions about menu items, making recommendations, and handling special requests or dietary needs.
The Waiter is also expected to process bills and payments, follow health and safety standards, and support team members during busy service periods.
Qualifications
- Strong customer-facing skills, including Customer Service and clear Communication.
- Practical experience or knowledge in Food & Beverage and Food Service operations.
- Basic understanding of Cooking or food preparation processes to discuss menu items confidently.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced hospitality environment, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
- Attention to detail, reliability, and a positive, collaborative attitude toward colleagues and guests.
- Previous experience in restaurant or hotel service is preferred; basic English language skills required, additional languages are an advantage.
