About This Role
Key Responsibilities
- Welcome guests warmly and provide attentive, professional service throughout their visit
- Present menus, explain food and beverage offerings, and make informed recommendations
- Accurately take and process guest orders using the POS system
- Serve food and beverages according to presentation and service standards
- Monitor guest satisfaction and respond promptly to requests or concerns
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of dining areas, tables, and service stations
- Coordinate effectively with baristas, kitchen staff, and supervisors to ensure smooth service
- Handle billing, payments, and cash transactions accurately
- Assist with opening and closing duties
- Follow hygiene, food safety, and sanitation procedures at all times
- Support upselling initiatives and promote featured menu items
Requirements
- Previous experience as a waiter/server in cafés, restaurants, or hospitality venues preferred
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Professional appearance and positive attitude
- Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
- Strong teamwork and multitasking abilities
- Basic knowledge of food and beverage service standards
- Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays
- Familiarity with POS systems is an advantage
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in premium cafés, fine dining, or luxury hospitality environments
- Knowledge of specialty coffee, desserts, and premium food service
- Multilingual communication skills
- Hospitality or customer service training certifications
