Overview
- Carry out installation, testing, commissioning, troubleshooting, and servicing of VRV/VRF air conditioning systems.
- Install indoor units, outdoor units, refrigerant piping, drainage piping, and control wiring as per project drawings.
- Perform vacuuming, pressure testing, leak testing, refrigerant charging, and system start-up activities.
- Execute commissioning activities and ensure systems operate according to manufacturer specifications.
- Read and interpret HVAC drawings, layouts, schematics, and installation manuals.
- Monitor system performance and identify faults related to refrigeration, electrical, and control systems.
- Diagnose and rectify issues in compressors, fan motors, expansion valves, sensors, controllers, and communication networks.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, and other trades to ensure smooth project execution.
- Ensure all installation and commissioning activities comply with project quality and safety standards.
- Prepare service reports, testing records, and commissioning documentation.
- Supervise and guide technicians (for Foreman position) to ensure timely completion of assigned work.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities when required.
