Overview
- Assist in the installation, testing, commissioning, and start-up of industrial refrigeration systems utilizing ammonia (NH₃) refrigerant.
- Support commissioning activities for compressors, condensers, evaporators, vessels, pumps, valves, and associated refrigeration equipment.
- Perform pressure testing, leak detection, vacuuming, refrigerant charging, and system performance testing.
- Monitor and verify operational parameters including pressure, temperature, flow rates, and system efficiency.
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and control-related issues in ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Assist in the commissioning of PLC, control panels, sensors, instrumentation, and safety interlock systems.
- Review and interpret P&ID drawings, refrigeration schematics, equipment layouts, and technical documentation.
- Coordinate with engineers, supervisors, vendors, and project teams during installation and commissioning activities.
- Ensure compliance with project specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures related to ammonia refrigeration systems.
- Prepare commissioning reports, inspection records, punch lists, and technical documentation.
- Participate in system performance testing and final handover activities.
- Support preventive and corrective maintenance activities when required.
