Build production-grade AI agents that coordinate real legal workflows for US consumer law firms.

Own end-to-end agent development, evaluation systems, and production improvements.

HelloCounsel builds AI workers for consumer law firms in the United States.

The team is small, ownership-driven, and focused on reliable production systems used on real cases.

Requirements

  • At least 3 years of experience building software and AI applications.
  • Hands-on experience with Python and building AI agents through personal or company projects.
  • Experience building and shipping AI-powered applications and products actively used by customers.
  • Comfort using AI tools in daily development and validating and improving their output.
  • Strong problem-solving skills, resourcefulness, and the ability to contribute to product and system design.
  • Passion for building reliable production systems.
  • Startup, hackathon, or open-source experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Build long-running AI agents that maintain state and move legal cases forward over hours and days.
  • Develop evaluation and regression infrastructure for safe and reliable agent updates.
  • Own a product area from design through production deployment and continuous improvement.
  • Design, monitor, optimize, and improve reliable AI systems in production.
  • Collaborate on scalable AI solutions for legal workflows and make technical decisions.

Workplace

  • The role is based in Bengaluru and requires working from the office five days per week.
