What you'll do
- As a Strategy Manager, you'll help shape the future direction of VodafoneThree. Working on some of the business's most important opportunities and challenges, you'll lead strategic projects that influence investment decisions, growth priorities and long-term competitive advantage. You'll turn complex questions into clear recommendations, combining analytical rigour, commercial insight and collaboration to help senior leaders make confident decisions. You will: Lead strategic projects and workstreams from inception to delivery, defining the approach, managing stakeholders and driving high-quality outcomes. Transform complex and ambiguous business challenges into clear strategic choices and actionable plans. Assess market, customer, competitor, technology and regulatory trends to identify opportunities, risks and emerging industry developments. Build robust commercial and financial models, using data, scenario planning and sensitivity analysis to evaluate strategic options. Develop evidence-based recommendations that shape business priorities, investment decisions and growth opportunities. Partner with colleagues across the business to bring together diverse perspectives and build alignment around strategic decisions. Constructively challenge assumptions and existing ways of thinking to ensure recommendations are robust and commercially sound. Create compelling, insight-led presentations and narratives that clearly communicate the "what", "why" and "so what" to senior stakeholders. Contribute to a collaborative, high-performing strategy team by sharing expertise, ideas and insights. Use AI and digital tools to enhance research, analysis, modelling and content development while applying sound judgement to outputs.
Who you are
- Significant experience in corporate strategy, strategy consulting, business development, investment banking, commercial finance or a similar strategic environment. A proven ability to structure complex, ambiguous problems and translate them into practical, actionable recommendations. Advanced commercial and financial modelling skills, including experience building sophisticated models from large datasets and conducting scenario and sensitivity analysis. Strong commercial acumen with the ability to identify key value drivers and turn analysis into strategic insight. Knowledge of telecommunications, technology or a related industry, with an understanding of how external trends can impact business performance. Excellent communication and storytelling skills, with confidence presenting complex topics and recommendations to senior audiences. Experience working across functions, building relationships and influencing stakeholders with different perspectives. A naturally curious mindset with the confidence to ask challenging questions and explore new ideas. Strong analytical, digital and AI tool proficiency.
