Role overview
Manage and support enterprise virtualization and Windows server environments within a large-scale environment.
Required skills
- VMware vSphere, ESXi, and vCenter.
- Windows Server administration; Active Directory, DNS, DHCP, and Group Policy.
- VMware HA, DRS, vMotion, and capacity planning.
- Backup and recovery solutions including Veeam, Commvault, or NetBackup.
- SAN/NAS storage administration and disaster recovery.
- Data center operations, patch management, and security hardening.
- ITIL processes and ServiceNow.
Experience
- 4 to 6 years of relevant experience.
- Strong hands-on experience in VMware and Windows infrastructure administration.
- Experience supporting enterprise data center environments.
Preferred certifications
- VMware VCP certification is preferred.
- Microsoft Windows Server certifications are preferred.
- ITIL Foundation certification is preferred.
Responsibilities
- Manage and support enterprise virtualization and Windows server environments in a large-scale environment.
- Administer VMware and Windows infrastructure, including virtualization platforms and server systems.
- Support enterprise data center environments.
