Videographer / Cameraman- Conferences and Exhibitions

Job Purpose

Main Responsibilities

• Photograph directing (composition, lighting, setup the scene).
• Selecting, assembling and positioning equipment (cameras, stands, software etc.)
• Photography environment setup.
• Know and apply the technical aspects of lenses, film, filters, light and camera settings to each shot to ensure the director gets the desired effect.
• Adjust printers, camera controls, and any related equipment to find the right lighting, exposure and focus.
• Video Editing and retouching photographs.
• Edit with Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and other video editing software.
• Arrange studio sets to best suit the settings on the camera, and control the lighting equipment, film stock, audio and cameras.
• Work as a Videographer & Photography (Events, People, Products, etc…).
• Work with sound mixing – both recording and editing.
• Create online digital video following the media trends.
• Video motion graphic experience an added bonus
• Put into effect plans and strategies that enhance corporate image.
• Film quality footage.
• Collaborate with other team members.
• Report and resolve any technical or practical issues.
• Provide creative input to scene planning and implementation.
• Media watch to safeguard corporate image of INDEX and other clients.
• Liaise with project managers and team members to discuss objectives, media requirements and reasonable deadlines for the job.
• Remain updated on new technology and current industry trends to ensure you bring the latest methods to the job.
• Perform other duties as may occur and as instructed by the Manager.
• Adhere to INDEX’s rules and regulations; written or implied and any changes or introductions, which may vary from time to time as deemed appropriate

Qualifications and Experience

• Bachelor degree or Diploma in Technical, Broadcasting, Digital Electronics or related field.
• 3 years' experience as a Cameraman in Production set up.
• Experience operating relevant equipment (cameras, cranes etc.).
• Excellent theoretical knowledge of filming and capturing footage.
• Ability to understand and follow camera scripts.
