About the Role

We are looking for a Social Media Video Editor with strong content understanding to turn trading-related content into high-quality videos for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, Reels, and other social platforms.

This role is not only about editing videos. We are looking for someone who understands content structure, audience behavior, and how to improve video performance and conversion through editing.

Key Responsibilities

1. Video Editing & Delivery

. Produce and deliver at least 14 short videos per week for YouTube Shorts, TikTok, and Reels

. Or deliver at least 7 short videos plus 2 long-form YouTube videos per week

. Select key clips from livestreams or long-form videos and restructure them into engaging content

. Optimize the video structure, including the hook, key message, and call-to-action

. Add Chinese and English subtitles, basic visual effects, and sound effects to improve the viewing experience

. Create simple and attractive YouTube thumbnails

. Make basic content optimizations based on project needs to improve retention and conversion

Requirements

1. Content Understanding

. Strong ability to analyze content and identify the key message of a video

. Familiar with short-form video structure, including hooks, information delivery, and call-to-action

. Able to optimize content from the audience’s perspective

1. Basic Trading Knowledge

. Basic understanding of cryptocurrency, forex, or financial trading is required

. Able to understand common trading concepts such as trends, support and resistance, liquidity, etc.

. Able to accurately interpret trading-related content without misunderstanding the message

1. Language Skills

. Bilingual in Chinese and English

. Able to create subtitles and handle basic translation for video content

1. Execution Ability

. Strong time management skills and ability to handle high-frequency content production

. Positive working attitude, strong sense of responsibility, and good communication skills

1. Professional Skills

. Proficient in mainstream editing tools such as Premiere Pro, CapCut, Final Cut Pro, or similar tools

. Basic visual design ability for thumbnail creation

. Familiar with short-form video pacing and editing logic

Nice to Have

. Experience creating financial or trading-related content

. Experience editing or operating content for YouTube, TikTok, or other social platforms

. Understanding of short-form platform recommendation mechanisms or content growth logic

Expected Output

. Videos with clear structure and a strong viewing experience

. Content that can help improve completion rate and user engagement

. Editing output that supports traffic growth and user conversion goals
