We are now looking for a dedicated
Hospital Nurse
to join our clinical team and play a vital role in inpatient and ICU care.
Role Overview
As a Veterinary Hospital Nurse, you will be central to providing high-quality inpatient care, supporting critical patients, and ensuring seamless clinical operations across our hospitals.
You will work closely with veterinarians and clinical teams to maintain the highest standards of patient safety, comfort, and treatment accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
- Continuous inpatient & ICU patient monitoring and documentation
- Safe and accurate administration of medications & IV therapies
- Support in critical care, post-op recovery, and emergency cases
- Wound care, catheter management, and patient hygiene support
- Assistance in diagnostic procedures and surgical preparation/recovery
- Strict infection control and hospital SOP compliance
- Accurate clinical documentation, treatment charts & handovers (SBAR)
- Support client communication through clinical updates (as delegated)
- Maintain ICU/ward readiness, cleanliness, and equipment checks
Requirements
- Veterinary Nursing qualification (Diploma/Degree or equivalent)
- 1ā2+ years' experience in small animal clinical practice (hospital/ICU preferred) in the UAE
- Strong clinical observation and patient monitoring skills
- Confident in medication administration and nursing documentation
- Eligibility for UAE veterinary practice/licensing (as applicable)
- Calm, detail-oriented, and able to perform under pressure
- Strong English communication skills (additional languages a plus)
