Perform E&I vendor inspection and quality surveillance for oil and gas construction projects.
Ensure electrical installations, instrumentation, calibration, and inspection activities comply with approved specifications, codes, standards, and quality requirements.
Responsibilities
- Conduct E&I vendor inspections for oil and gas construction projects.
- Inspect high-voltage installations, switchgear, electrical drives, and hazardous area installations.
- Monitor electrical and instrumentation installation compliance.
- Inspect and verify calibration of flow meters, transmitters, and other process instrumentation.
- Review inspection, testing, calibration, and quality documentation.
- Monitor compliance with standards, construction and quality requirements, HSE regulations, and applicable legislation.
- Identify quality deviations and support corrective actions.
Mandatory requirements
- Degree or diploma in Electrical Engineering.
- At least 8 years in a comparable E&I inspection role and mandatory oil and gas construction project experience.
- Experience with HV installations, switchgear, electrical drives, hazardous areas, and calibration or inspection of process instrumentation.
- Strong understanding of E&I inspection requirements and working knowledge of BS, IEC, ISO, API, ATEX, EEMUA, and client standards.
- Knowledge of construction standards, codes of practice, applicable E&I regulations, HSE requirements, and quality inspection procedures.
- QM vendor experience.
